Founded in July 1963 in Sobral, Ceará, Fábrica Coelho is a cornerstone of the region's industrial development and the legacy of the Barreto Arruda family. The company originated from the visionary expansion of the original "Padaria Coelho" (Coelho Bakery) by its founder, José Hélio Barreto de Arruda Coelho.
What began as a modest operation with a traditional wood-fired oven has evolved through decades of consistent growth and technological investment. Today, headquartered in Massapê-CE, Fábrica Coelho combines over 60 years of tradition with modern production capacity, delivering quality products that represent the entrepreneurial spirit of Ceará to the world.
